The Dunnsland site has now been up and running for around 10 years now. There have been very many people that have been extremely helpful and sent me familytree data. This has helped me to try to have the site as accurate as possible.
It has come to my attention that there are still very many dates that make no sense.
So I would very much appreciate it if all of you could please take some time and browse the familytree data on the site, and if you can validate the dates, if you see any details that are incorrect, please let me know soonest so that I can amend and correct this.
Thanks in the Dunn name

Greetings Dunnland people.
Well what can I say, I have been very slack with all the updates and follow ups. The fact is that I am somewhat dissapointed that our Dunnsland Family members are all searching and digging but none of them even contemplate using the free service that I am providing.
It is really strange that we as a family have so many issues of disconnection, issues of not sharing, issues with finding documents. Just so many issues. Why can we not just join together, find common ground and start somewhere. Get a great comprehensive familytree going, see if we cannot make it a real big deal where all John Dunn Decendents can come and search for their part in this whole adventure of being a Dunn!
Come on Family, instead of wasting our time with seperate resources, lets join our research forces together so that together we can be very much stronger and very much more resourceful.
Thanks for the following.

Welcome to the Dunnsland Genealogy Site
The genealogy information on this website is powered by PhpGedView. This page provides an introduction and overview to this genealogy.
To make it clear, I have restricted the number of people that can send data to the site itself, I would very much prefer that you send all the data that you want to have listed to me so that I can update the family tree.
I would suggest that you start with yourself, send me all of the following data.
Your first name, your surname.
Your Date of Birth
Your Place of Birth
your mothers first name
your mothers maiden name
your mothers married name
you mothers DOB, POB
if deceased then add DOD, POB
your fathers first name
your fathers surname
your fathers DOB and POB
if deceased, then his DOD and POD
all of the same details for each of your siblings.
Once all this is done, you have created a very good starting point. If you have certificates to back up your data then you can easily dig deeper to gain further information.
To begin working with the data, choose one of the charts from the Charts menu, go to the Individual list, or search for a name or place.
If you have trouble using the site, you can click on the Help icon to give you information on how to use the page that you are currently viewing.
If you have images please feel free to send them to me and I will upload them accordingly.
Also feel free to ask any questions you need answered in accordance with the FamilyTree information.
Thank you for visiting this site.
